  • Peter Lance Files Motion To Unseal Survivor Court Records

    April 29, 2001
Peter Lance has filed a Motion in Los Angeles Superior Court to unseal documents in the multi-million dollar lawsuit filed by SURVIVOR's producers against Stacey Stillman, the San Francisco attorney voted off in SURVIVOR's first season.

Lance, whose investigative book THE STINGRAY was the first to reveal evidence that SURVIVOR's producers manipulated events that could have affected the outcome of the FCC regulated game show, also filed an amicus curiae brief in support of a motion by Ms. Stillman's attorneys to unseal court records that have been kept secret at the request of SEG Inc, (a partnership of CBS and Survivor Productions).

  • Kimmi Continues To Make Mom & Dad Proud -- Now Competing In Whipped Cream Bikini Contests

    April 29, 2001
Wow, leave it to Kimmi to continue to set new media whorish lows for Survivor contestants...

Kimmi, apparently not satisfied with her new role as a thong contest judge, has now moved on to actually COMPETING in -- no, not in thong contests, that'd be too classy for her apparently, or maybe it's just a conflict of interest -- whipped cream bikini contests.

And in a move sure to make Internet perverts everywhere happy, WNEW, the New York City radio station conducting the contest in which Kimmi is competing, has put a couple of her photos online.

How low can this girl go? ...we think Kimmi just officially got too sleazy for Playboy (who'd a thunk it?) -- time to see if maybe Penthouse is interested.

  • British Version Of 'Temptation Island' Being Planned

    April 29, 2001
Sky One and Channel 4 are planning to show a UK version of the controversial US reality TV show Temptation Island. A Sky One spokesman said that they are going ahead with the 12 part (that's double the original length of the US version) series but have not agreed the details.

A Channel 4 spokesman confirmed that they have "acquired the US version for broadcast and will show the version Sky One are making". Sky One are looking at a variety of locations - including Belize, the Seychelles and the British Virgin Islands - but nothing is as yet confirmed.

Channel 4 will not have editorial control over the show and will broadcast it only after Sky One does.

The contestant that everyone loved to hate will appear on the CBS soap opera on May 28 - playing, of all people, herself. (wow, there's an opportunity to S-T-R-E-T-C-H her acting ability)

The network said she was scheduled to tape the episode Tuesday, appearing opposite Jess Walton, who plays scheming heiress Jill Abbott.
